Spy Hunter
This one is really good! A while ago Jonah did send me a link for a Car commercial which somehow refers to my map project. Today he showed me this car commercial which transforms the good old “Spy Hunter” computer game into semi-real-life-action. Very well done! Remember the sound track? :-)
Thx for the link Jonah!
Mark Jenkins in Berlin?
This “Installation” looks like a Mark Jenkins piece, but the guy is unfortunately real and serious about his begging effort. I keept seeing him at Hackescher Markt Berlin lately. He reminded me so much of Mark’s “invisible” sculptures. Nobody takes notice.
Great work Mark! Was goo to meet you at the Open City exhibition last year!
Russian Gmail commercial
The russian Gmail office claims to create “Gmail art”.

“Modelling Infectious Diseases in Virtual Realities”
This talk about the “corrupted blood” plague of World of Warcraft was held by floX at 24c3. The WoW disease was programmed my Blizzard itself but went out of control and took over the whole virtual world. floX did a very precise and interesting analysis of the the plague comparing it to real life diseases. In the end he is proposing to introduce virtual diseases as a regular part of MMORPGs. I like that idea and I am wondering how to connect to real life in the end too? ;-) see also –> Snowcrash
More details and resources on the talk at 24c3 schedule
“Chat” at 24c3 movie
