Yep, it is. I think it is a nice, supersimple concept and probably it really doesn’t take longer than 2 hours to build it. But I have to point out that I haven’t made it. I was just drinking the très bon coffee. Actually, time’s up (www.timesup.org) – the artist group that has made it is building many funny machines at the moment which are all a little bit green. But you have to check their other projects on their webpage.
However, coming back to the satellite dish coffee machine. There’s one minor problem with it: It still needs to be adjustet every time to the sun position when you want to make a coffee. So some sophisticated sun tracking mechanism would be a nice future feature.
